The 2016 presidential election may be 17 months away, but both political parties already have candidates stumping in the state pretty much daily. Photographing a bunch of political talking heads can get repetitive, but there’s generally plenty of other visually interesting things going on at the events. I’m going to be using this space to post images from the political events I cover for the Gazette across Iowa, images of everything BUT the candidates’ faces.
